About Brighton Insurance (Brokers) Group Ltd.

Brighton Insurance Group is the new name for the combined operations of D.F. Edmonds & Co and Grant Smith.  D.F.Edmonds & Co was founded in 1972 and has been owned by Alan Hemsley and Kevin Clark since Doug Edmonds retired in 1999. Alan and Kevin have been with the company for a combined total of over 50 years. Grant Smith was founded in 1972 by Robin Smith and in 2007 joined forces with D.F.Edmonds & Co to form the Brighton Insurance Group.

Since 1972 both companies have built a reputation for offering an informed and professional service to industrial, commercial and personal clients in Brighton and throughout the UK. With the formation of the new company our existing staff will continue to provide a high level of customer service and advice.
